CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH?

 

 

Greetings in matchless name of Jesus.

 

Today’s message is titled:

CAN YOU HANDLE TRUTH?

 

 

Reading from the book of:

Rev 21 5 : He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

 

When God decides to make all things new, he will start from breaking down your foundation and rebuild it ensuring that there are no cracks. He will make you a solid ground that no matter what may come your way, you will be able to stand firm in His word.  You will enter into a place of transition, this means you will be placed in the dessert or the wilderness as we know it, where it is just you and God, where he begins to do a great work within you. This process is called pruning. It is a tough place to be in family, a place where you are separated from all familiar things, a place where you are humbled, a place where your mind is transformed. This is what the word of Lord says.

 

Romans 12: 1 -2 NIV. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

 

When God takes you out of the world, a world where you have been conformed to for so long, where that is the only environment you know how to function in, and the Lord starts to begin his work in you so that you can be used for his purpose, you need to change your thinking, your mindset starts to be transformed into a kingdom way of thinking. As the word of God says in

 

Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

 

We also read in John 1:8

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 

                                                                                                                                                                        

There are various truths the Bible speaks of but the one true virtue is that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through him.

 

We want great blessings, but we can’t even get out of bed and come to church to praise His holy name. We want favour but we don’t even read our Bibles. We want healing but we don’t even believe in the prayers we pray. We want breakthroughs but spend no quiet time with God.

 

God’s word is the truth that shall set us free. We need to call upon His name and seek His revelation in scripture or the new will pass us by for new wine will never be poured into old wineskins.

You can either live with Jesus or without. No half-hearted connotations. No procrastination. No excuses. No lies. No deception. Either you are all in or you are not.

 

That’s the plain truth.

 

Lord of all the ages, Lord of power and might, Lord of increase, Lord of favour, Lord of sovereignty, Lord of lords...

We enter into the Holiest of places right now as you have torn the curtain that once separated us from you. We decree and declare that your word has taken root in us and we will not be shaken. We plant our beings on the foundation of your great voice. We bare witness to all the amazing things that you have done.

You are far beyond our understanding and we ask that you intervene in our lives that you own right now. We place our minds under the submission of the blood you shed for us on Calvary.  We know that you are working in our favour, you are making things new and you blessings are manifesting in our lives.

We stand in agreement as the body of Christ over the message you have given us and we proclaim that there is no other god but the God called Jesus Christ.

We love you Father.
